I was skeptical but was having so much issues with my shower head that is not even old. I realized I was missing washer but I could see a white film on the screw in piece so I bought this product plus a washer!Not a drip worker fantastic.

This product is great. I have used threading seal tape before and it failed. This one seals as expected. Great product. Keeping it in the toolbox for future projects.

Tends to flip over while wrapping around a pipe so you get a thin piece... but slowing down helped

Never really gave much thought to the fact that Teflon tape has gotten much more flimsy over the years. This one reminds me of the original versions, tough, thicker and just more user friendly. Worth the little extra cost.

I don't know if men really care about what brand of tape they use, but I've found out all tape is not all created equal! Being a single mom I ended up doing the jobs that usually are done by “ the man of the house” and worked as a stage hand for many years..I would buy tape based on how many rolls and what's the price and I ended up with some really crappy product. There is a difference and this brand is a good deal, it definitely is a better quality compared others you use less, it's stronger, stays where u put it. It may be a small part of the job u need it for but trial and error teaches u what works best and does a better job. So yep the small details matter and when u use this brand for whatever u do it's just better.

14 November 2021Regular white PTFE thread tape (the cheap stuff) measures 0.04mm thick. (Very Thin)Mega Tape (Gray Water PTFE tape) from Lowe's measures 0.10mm thick. (Heavy Duty)This tape is advertised to be 0.09mm thick, but it is really 0.08mm thick.That may not sound like a big difference between what it really is compared to what it is advertised to be, but that means it is 11% thinner than advertised.OK, I may be splitting hairs, but if they say it is 0.09mm thick, that is what I expect it to be.Anything less takes away stars.
