Measures a tad short of 15 inched this is a a strong pry bar. Size weight and shape perfect for various to-do projects. Rocker bend works well for nail pulling. American made (IL) per label. I looked at many and recommend this you for you toolbox.

I have been using Vaughn superbars for 30 years. I finally broke the original by wacking it with sledge to pry a piece of hardwood by driving into wood and applying severe torque. I was lost . Had to find one and nothing else comes close. Fast delivery. Thankyou

Perfect for jobs where you may want to put the board back, rather than just remove the board and nails for destruction. A lot thinner and smaller than a standard crowbar. Easy to bring along.

Super pleased with this purchase. I was looking for something to break down a bunch of wood palettes and this was perfect. Real heavy duty; great weightiness; feels good to grip and comfortable to handle (and I have small hands); and effective. I also like that the ends have small divots for pulling out nails. The price was great. I'd highly recommend. Thx!

Ok. Amateur DIY'er here.I had to take out an old window frame.I live in a hundred year old bungalow-so I should add that there was probably 100 layers of paint also. There were also nails that were so ridiculously long that I can't imagine why they were even invented. I lost my old pry bar, (I'm sure it's resting peacefully inside a wall or window), so I needed a replacement. This was well worth the money- made the job fairly effortless. It is incredibly sturdy and easy to use.

So glad I bought this tool. It has made removal of base boards so much easier than my other pry bars. What a well designed bar it is. It was everything that the other reviewers said it would be. Grabs nails and won't let go till they are removed. The width prevents wall damage. My other bars were too narrow and the wall had to be protected from damage. The radius on each end, the rocker action and the leverage made it a fast fun job. The sharp ends went between wall and baseboard quickly and boom the board was on its way off the wall. Yes, I'm really happy with it.

I have a variety of prise bars, All my others are of the solid steel type. This is a useful addition, but not a universal substitute for any of my other prise bars. This bar is made of spring steel. is light in weight (good) but cannot substitute for a solid steel bar. The spring steel is of very good quality and I have applied very serious amounts of pressure but have been unable to deform the bar. At this point I usually have to go back to a longer solid steel bar. However nothing is universal, and this bar I have found very useful. Because it is relatively thin it it great for getting between tight fitting objects. Also the large curved bend gives a good point to "bash" with a heavy hammer, should you need to. It takes this "abuse" very well. It also has a "vee" cutout in the bar which locks in the head of a nail and you can prise their removal. I liked this feature. The "vee" slit for removing nails on the less curved end has been of less use to me as it seems too wide. The designers of this bar obviously have a purpose for it but I have only found it useful for locating a nail and then shearing it off at its shank by belting the other round end with a heavy hammer.I would miss this bar if I no longer had it for some reason and would replace it if it should get lost.
