not leak proof. Nice looking bottle and seemed perfect for my guinea pig. But it leaked completely dry in less than 2 hours. Tried second time, making sure I had correct angle and the same result.

This water dispenser works well with the cage kennel we use for our beagle-corgi mixed breed. The important aspects of a water dispenser are that it installs easily, fits securely, and doesn’t leak. This dispenser meets all these requirements. The fact that I can refill the dispenser without removing it from the kennel is fantastic.The construction, fit, and finish of this water dispenser are excellent. I’m very pleased with it.

These water bottles are very nice quality! They are a heavier duty bottle than most plastic water bottles. I got this for my chinchillas and when they try to drink from the bottle, it lets out too much water at a time. Chinchillas can not get wet and this causes a problem for me. If you are using this for rabbits or other larger critters, this bottle would work great. I only knocked off 1 star because of the amount of water that does come out when the animal is drinking. This is a great water bottle and I do recommend it.

When I crate my Great Pyrenees puppy she would flip her water bowl. This keeps her crate dry and my conscience clear about not crating her with a water option. It is leak proof unless she bumps her body into the spigot. She likes it and we know this because we come home to it empty with a dry crate.
