How to Set Up the Starter Violin?
A new rosin can be scraped with a hard object to help it easier to attach to the bow. Rub the bow head first, then rub it down to the end of the instrument to ensure the same thickness.
Note: The bow hairs need to be loosened after each performance, and tightened gently when practicing again.

This half-size violin is good for beginners, the bridge is pre-cut, which is really convenient.The tuning pegs need to be pushed in firmly after adjustments, and you will then need to use the tuners to fine-tune and get the green light - Just be careful not to overtighten and break a string when using the pegs.The included fingerboard stickers are a nice touch for learning, and the blue velvet-lined case is great.

It came in perfect condition, the only thing is, I can't figure out how to tune the violin. Even with the videos and tuner. But it seems like a great violin for beginners! It's size is perfect and it looks wonderful!

Purchased for my 10 year old for Christmas. We also got her private lessons. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold a tune well, and constantly needs returned. We'll have to het her another one.

Tuning this violin took some effort. I have played a full sized violin in the past, but that was decades ago. I played for 10 years so I knew my way around basic running, but not restringing. Tuning this violin the first time I closer to restringing as it ships with no tension.Functionally everything works well and with the bow rosined I was able to demonstrate some very out of tune skills. They have lessons scheduled and the instructor has advised she will help tune it further.It looks and feels like a 1/4 violin. The case, bow, violin itself, and the accessories are all of excellent quality.I was on the fence about comparing this to a toy, but it tends that direction. That makes this a perfect starting point for a young violinist.

Arrived as described on the site.Comes with Rosin, case, bow (loosened), two bridges, neck rest, extra set of individually packaged strings (G)(D)(A)(E), electric tuner, a cloth, an instruction manual, practice mute, and a finger board guide. I made the decision to remove the strings, pegs, and tail piece altogether to reposition them because the violin wouldn’t stay tuned and the pegs kept slipping…but aside it’s a beautiful violin and I’m looking forward to playing it.

Bought for a Christmas gift only to realize on Christmas day that it was missing the most crucial part which is the wooden bridge. Came with all others parts except the bridge. Was really disappointing as we cannot even use it or test the product without it.

This is the violin that I finished setting up, the violin was packed very securely even before I opened it. As described, it is handmade and made of solid wood, at first I didn't care about that but after receiving the violin, I believed it to be true. You can see the wood grain very clearly inside the violin that I took a picture of. In addition, I was surprised to see a handwritten number on the bridge, which proves that it is handmade. I didn't expect too much from a violin ordered from Amazon at first, but after a while of feeling it, I found it more than worth its price. From the sound, material to packaging, everything is at a good level, nothing was damaged during transportation. The case is also very sturdy. This is a violin set that is completely suitable for beginners or advanced players, it comes with all the accessories you need. If you want to try a new instrument, this is your PERFECT CHOICE. Honestly, I was SUPER SURPRISED with this violin. (It is not uncommon for violin strings to slip during tuning. You can fix this by applying rosin to the tuning pegs, or simply push the tuning pegs into the drilled holes to help them stay in place. You can also use the pegs on the bottom of the violin to adjust instead of the pegs).

This Vangoa Violin 1/4 Size for beginners is easy to assemble, feels durable, comes with everything needed to play music and premium tuner.The hardest part about setup was putting the Rosin on the bow to produce sound however once that is done and it's tuned, can play music immediately.Was able to test it out with 6 year old but she did have some difficulty at times making this suitable for older children.Carrying case has multiple compartments to store accessories and it even comes with an extra set of Strings in case one breaks. Tuning at first can be difficult due to having to push in knobs sometimes to hold tune.Vangoa Violin 1/4 Size that works properly, comes with everything needed to get started, is made of quality materials and portable using the included carrying case.
