M|O ligature, a lightweight and non-tightening lead with the Bandolen Master's ligature, combined with the Bandolen Optimum that tightens the lead evenly on the left and right side. Fast response and sharp articulation for richer expression.
Features of the M|O ligature.
1. Easy to install
The contour of the M|O ligatures is designed to contour to the mouthpiece and are designed to fit beautifully and perfectly so you can significantly reduce the adjustment time required during installation.
2. Optimum Screw
This special Optimum Trigger design locks the lead in place with a few turns of screws. Although it is normal to be a little operation, this function is very helpful when a quick lead change is required.
3. Inverted symmetrical suspension
The entire lead must be oscillated evenly in order to ensure the lead works properly. M|O's unique double track mechanism gives uniform suspension to both sides of the lead. Single screw located on the opposite side of the lead secures the lead without being too tight.
4. Contact Points
The M|O ligatures secure the lead to the mouthpiece table without any extra pressure. The grooves produced in the M|O ligature, eliminate side pressure and unnecessary contact that affects the vibration of the lead. Two small contact points that hold the lead to protect the natural vibration of the lead. Fast response and sharp articulation are provided by these two contact points.
5. Lightweight
The M|O is made from light brass. This brass does not restrict the movement of the reed and allows for free resonance. This material allows for a more sophisticated and free music expression without the hassle of reeds.

This is a gorgeous ligature! I just got a crystal mouthpiece and I think it looks so pretty together. It works well, no complaints there. It just feels delicate. I'm always worried I'm going to bend it. I also have to tighten it after I take my reed off so that the mouthpiece cover fits. If I leave the screw where it was when I took my reed off, the cap won't fit over it.
