This is a profile 88 mouthpiece, not a traditional vandoren 5rv lyre. The facing is completely different. I want to return the item but it only says I can do a replacement. It is the wrong mouthpiece, so why would I want to replace it with another wrong mouthpiece??

I was amazingly lucky to enter the music store at the same time a renowned clarinet performer and highly experienced teacher dropped by. He was an extremely nice guy, and he shared his expertise on mouthpieces. This is THE one mouthpiece he has had every student regardless of his expertise purchase. I am very pleased with it. I have returned to the clarinet after a number of years away. This mouthpiece was a huge step in the right direction.
