This is the type of oil that should be used in older cars. IE: 60s70s. It contains a zink additive to help lubricate. Works great in my 65 Ford Mustang.

I have been using this Valvoline VR1 oil in my drag race cars engine since 2005. Doing my winter teardown now and in checking the bearings, all still look like new. Also the camshaft and lifters are good too. So some new gaskets and back together this engine goes for the 2025 season !

Good product but 5QT container was leaking. Wrapped in very thin plastic bag but still it leaked into the cushioning paper and the box. Fortunately, it had not been out there long enough to stain our sidewalk.
