Works great, was recommended by the repairman when our grey water plugged up.Just shut the black water valve, open the grey water valve and close the valve on the valve king. Let the tank fill partly up, open the valve king valve and let her rip. The built up pressure forces the block out. Also great for ensuring your drain and hose are cleaned out.

This thing works amazing like other reviews say. Iv tried the wands and all the tank blaster chemicals, nothing compairs to how well this works. It gets more crud out than ever imagined that was still in there. I did a regular dump after camping and then used this to do a back flush. I was amazed on how much was still left in the tank and come out after the back wash. The pressure and vortex this makes once you open the gate to let all the water out is very impressive and satisfying to watch. I did the back wash 4 times to get 10 years of crap out of my tank. I like how it swivels as well. The first time you go to swivel it, it will be rather hard but it gets easier as it gets worked in.

I finally had the opportunity to use my week old purchase. I saw this product as I was scanning YouTube and found a 55 minute video (yes, long but found it to be very worth my time for this important chore), put on with an employee of ‘Kleen Tank’ (KleenTank.com), a business that flushes out holding tanks for clients that hire them to clear out tanks for many different reasons. After purchasing a water flow gauge for my garden hose (as they recommended, for obvious reasons), and the required ‘Flush gate’ (above), I took my trailer to a local dump site rather than wait to do it at a campground dump location and risk a back up line that would push me beyond a typical timeline to complete the task.It went perfectly the first time with zero issues. The flush gate valve is so slick and reverse filling both tanks went quicker than I expected (roughly 1 gallon per 10 seconds, for me).My wife was in the trailer just this 1st time, to make sure we didn’t overflow anything as it progressed filling. I wanted 80% of the tank filled as recommended ( 30 gallon tank so 24 gallons for my rig). We stopped filling at 22 gallons when she called out to me as it filled. We ended up doing 2 flushes until clean on the Black, and then 2 on the gray. This system is really a quality accessory to get, then keep my holding tanks maintained properly. Check out the website mentioned above, it’s important to know that they recommend NOT using a Black Tank additive to break down solids, as it becomes a ‘pancake mix’ type mud in your tank and if allowed to dry AT ALL, it’ll be very tough to clean with a normal flush at a campground dump. More important info on that company’s website and worth the time, trust me.If you use any type of RV and need to use a dump station, get this accessory along with a water flow gauge. You’ll be very happy in future rinsing chores……..I promise!

This was one of the first tools we bought for our 1st RV over 10 years ago, and it’s been the one I’ve been most satisfied with all these years! Experienced RV owners know how difficult it is to keep tank sensors working, especially the black tank. And if you frequently camp without full hook up sites like we do, you know how this makes it even more difficult. While it may sound gross, there is something extremely satisfying about being able to see what is exiting the tanks during dumping, especially when it FINALLY runs clear and all you see exiting is clear water. But being able to see what’s leaving your tanks is only part of the fun - The most important thing about this product is the combination of the valve to block the sewer hose and the water hose inlet which permits you to backfill the tanks. Having a full tank is key to emptying it as the added pressure helps remove debris. Filling it from the usual connections within the RV takes incredibly long (as the water pressure is much lower), so this saves a lot of time. While you can have someone watching it from the inside to see if the tank is full yet, I prefer to add a water meter to the line so I can do this all from outside (saving family member’s time and preventing a messy mistake). I use this for both the black and gray tanks and can usually have a clean tank and working sensors after a single flush or two. After over 10 years of frequent use we finally had to replace our original Flush King since many years of hot and cold weather and occasionally dropping it lead to one of the catch pins breaking off. Considering how long it lasted and how good it’s been, I had no reservations about buying the same model again.

Works great! You can tell when the tanks are clean enough to stop flushing.Make sure you have the tank valve open before you turn on the flush valve, the gate valves are not designed for city pressure and you will get wet!

I am glad I got this as I could never tell if I had flushed the tank properly. Now I can fill the tank with the gate closed and open the gate to see if the water is running clear. It took 2 flushes to clean the tank. There are 2 downsides neither of which apply to the product. When there is a line up at the dump station, I hate holding people up. The second thing is that sometimes the campground hose ends are not compatible.

This is the second type of back-flush attachment I have tried the first orange one with a 360 swivel blow apart on me while flushing, not the best experience. I figured this was due to the weakness of the swivel design, so this one being fixed does not have that potential flaw. I have to say on receipt I was impressed just how well made a sturdy this was, look stronger than the previous one. Having now given this a good test, I have to say, get one. The amount of additional waste I flushed was shocking, but I also noticed that I did not get any unpleasant smells while camping. So a really clean tank is a happy tank. I only have a small trailer, so smaller tanks, but back filling did not really take much time at all, flow from the hose attachment was significant and strong, enough to flush more out without back-filling. If you want a clean tank get one, then you'll wonder why you never purchased one sooner. Now for the observations; I found it a little annoying that the hose connection brings the hose right over the main dump valve on the device. While it does not stop you using it you do need to turn the valve handle 90 degrees to open it as the hose is in the way. Just wondering why they did not offset the hose connection and valve by 90 degrees, it does look like something you could do yourself, but its does not affect functionality. The other observation is one of time, to do the backflush it does take time and if its a single dump station you can end up with people waiting. I performed 2 full back flushes last time out which takes around 20-30 minutes with the initial dump, so allow for that. That said we waited for the trailer in front of us to dump and use their internal flush system, which was not much quicker anyway. Would recommend, but please get a separate hose for this only as we have seen people using their fresh water hose, which is not to be recommended, we have the bright orange hose so there's no mistakes. Happy camping
