I will make my review short and sweet. Let's get to the point. It is functional. It holds weight very well. I noticed that the pole responsible for holding the tree limbs is loose even once torqued down well. This doesn't lose an issue unless it's unbalanced. The label it came with was all messed up and I ended up taking it off. The pole is slightly off center that homd the weights. Its the way it was welded. Overall I'm satisfied enough not to send it back. It's very useful. If the little issues were fixed it would be 5 stars.

This thing is great. Holds all the weights, no crappy plastic, durable metal, etc. i spent almost $300 on a plate tree less than a year ago and got fed up with it because it was basically plastic. Just buy it; better than anything in the $300 or less range.

The middle piece of this weight lifting tree's bracket was horribly made. The bracket does not slide on smoothly and tightless to the bottom piece. Heck, the bracket isn't even close to form fitting around the base piece. Along with the screw holes being cut awfully, and not cut to be just large enough for the bolts to through, causes the whole tree to rock back and forth and side to side UNLESS you can jam a bunch of spacers into it to prevent this, which is what I sadly had to do to feel safe enough to load this tree. It was a decent headache getting this tree to be stable with my own DIY work, a solid few hours of work JUST to fix poor craftsmanship. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you want to DIY fix it yourself. Otherwise, the product it self is quite sturdy, it just simply wasn't made with remotely any precision.

I bought this to hold weights in a workout room in my basement. For this home use application, the rack is very stout and solid looking. I chose this one because the footprint seemed wide enough to give good stability and it was not the cheapest. It could certainly hold more weight than I have put on it.The product was REALLY well packaged and the assembly instructions were very clear and darn near idiot proof. I very much appreciated all the contact information (email and phone) in the box. I did have a problem with one of the horizontal storage bars – the threads had given way. I contacted Valor by email and Evan Athey could not have been more helpful. A new bar was shipped to me. It worked perfectly. I put the defective bar in the shipping box, put on the provided return address and took to UPS. Wish that all my business interactions went this well. I found Valor Fitness a real pleasure to deal with.

Great quality very sturdy. Put just over 200lbs on. The only reasons why not giving 5 stars are. One rubber end on leg as a bit deformed. So it's sits funny and inside of bar holder is bare. So it scratches Olympic bar. Could use some kind of rubber coating or sleeve. I put a thick plastic bag inside for now. Otherwise a great buy. Shipping was fast.

Very sturdy and well made. Holding 4-45lbs, 2-25lbs, 4-10lbs, 2-5lbs, and 2-2.5lbs with no problem and room to spare for more. Note that bars are chrome, not black as shown but still looks great.

For the price, this thing is great. Holds two full size olympic bars as well so that's a bonus. I have 350lbs on mine and still have plenty of room, I could see having 500+ lbs on it easy.

Came well packaged, no damage, no loose parts. Four nylons bands and tape holding the box together, very secure. Easy to assemble, and works excellent. As stated in the other review the pegs are chrome. Mine also differs slightly from the picture. Where the "tower" of the tree connects to the base, there is a flat bracket with four holes welded onto the tower which then bolts to the base from the top down. In the picture you see that there is a "horse-shoe" style bracket welded to the tower and fastens onto the base from the side with two bolts. I called Valor and they said they were getting some play with the hore-shoe bracket , so they switched to the other style. Don't know if this is true or not, seems the horse-shoe bracket would supply more side to side stability which is what you want. Either way it's stable, but I wouldnt vigorously rack my plates with disregard for stability. The bar holders work very well, nice and snug. For the $$$ it's a solid value, it looks more expensive than what it is. I posted a pic with it racked with 485lbs.(6-45's, 2-35's, 2-25's, 6-10's, 6-5's, and 2-2.5's).
