You definitely need a speed feed before stepping on to the field. If this the the one for your hopper then get it. Very easy to install and very durable. We have a these on our and the have lasted a few years now. Great product.

It's unfortunate that there's not other options available for the Valken Vmax. It's a good loader, especially for the price, but this being the only available speed feed is a small drawback. Installation is easy and straight forward, and build quality is verb good. The fingers start out very stiff but break in with usage, but the opening is just too small, it slows down the feed rate of balls from the pod.

Stock lid is much more seucure, this one balls fall out and it’s needs to be broken in before best experience. Not a bad alternative good build quality.

This fit my VMAX+ hopper without issue. Snapped right into place and fit perfectly. Bought it to replace the original clear plastic lid that the latch broke on.

I bought this for my VMax+This speed feed is really good for the price. The HK Army speed feed that is made for my hopper costs twice as much.I will add that I bought the HK Army SF as well, and that it does not come with a spring for the lid like the Valken brand.The Valken brand SF is a little stiff, I've heard that it takes a little bit of time to break in. If you drop a pod into it, there's a good chance that a few balls won't make it in. This is really the only con. The HK is perfect in this aspect.I would definitely recommend this for anyone who's a frugal person. If money is no object, the HK is better simply because of the functionality.
