I liked the design and the fact it does not stick above the handlebars but this will not work for your bike if you have a dropper remote or front derailleur shifter. I tried to figure out a way tom mount it but there just wasn't room for it.

This bell rocks. It's the only bell that I can install on my drop bars and be able to use it effectively when I'm on the hoods OR in the drops, all without taking my hands on the brakes. The sound of the bell is loud and clear. I really can't ask for more. EXCEPT... the ringer breaks too easily.I live in New York City and ride about 40 miles a week, mostly commuting. Cars, pedestrians, and indeed other cyclists are extra silly in NYC and I have to use my bell *a lot* ... but even so, I'm disappointed that this thing only lasted about 700 miles (5 months or so) before the ringer snapped off.In spite of this, I'm only dinging this bell by one star (see what I did there?). It's cheap enough that I'm totally cool having one or two spare bells in my drawer the same way I have spare tires, inner tubes and chain links. No other bell that I've seen works this well for bikes with drop bars. I'll gladly take the reliability trade-off.

This will quickly make a Mr. Bean bell ringer out of you! The sound is so delightful and has a long sustain. Easy to quickly quiet with just another touch. You can also learn to control the volume of your ring to be a bit less startling, say if you are carefully passing older folks closely. My bike has grip shifters, but I rarely come out of 2nd gear (large cogs) so I have it mounted directly on that hand and it fits snug. So nice to not have to let go of my handgrips just to alert others of my passing them. The black color blends nicely, so it won't attract thieves. The plastic is quite thick and sturdy, but my bike is stored inside, so I'm not sure how durable it is left in the elements over time. Overall, a very good value for your money.

This bell is inexpensive and thoughtfully designed. I have mine mounted on Essi foam handgrips right below the left brake lever, allowing me to brake and ring the bell with my thumb. It was easy to install and secure. The tone is clear, loud, and sustained. It is small and unobtrusive. There are some beautiful bells on the market but I found them to be impractical and unable to fit where they need to be mounted to be effective. I can’t speak to its durability but am happy with it so far.

Used on a road bike and it works very well. Bell is very compact yet sufficiently loud

I have several bikes and have installed the small (approx. 1 inch diameter) bells that you can readily find packaged as a set of 2 for under $10 or so. I love the tone of those bells. They are reasonably durable, have loud but pleasant double ding tones, and are small enough to position for use on either side of all my flat bar bikes; however, they don't fit the larger diameter drop bars on my road/gravel bike. This one does! It was super easy to install snuggly and inconspicuously on the left side hood of my bike's drop bars (I'm not sure if it will install/work on the right hood of drop bars). It has a very pleasant single ding tone that is clear and loud enough to be heard from a good distance even on a busy greenway. If you're tired of calling out "ON YOUR LEFT", you'll love this and I suspect many of the people you pass on the trail will too. You can tell the people who designed this bell actually ride drop bar bikes. While it may be a bit more expensive than my trusty, tried-n-true double-dingers, i'm pleased to say (after 1000 miles of use) I can't imagine finding another bell this close to PERFECT for a drop bar bike at such a reasonable price.

Ideal for drop-down handles. Fits very well large break levers. Intalled it on the left side and can trigger bell with left thumb. Sound is crisp and clear. Not too lound to bother or harrass people. At close to $40 in Canada, a bit too expensive though...

I ride a Fuji Tread with drops bars. Funny thing is none of the bells in the shop fit my oversized handlebars. I did a bit of hunting around online and settled on the trigger bell. I was considering the Knog Oi, and while it looks cool reviews said it wasn’t very loud, which would be a problem on the busy bike paths I ride. Also looked as the Adjustable Incredibell but reviews said the bell couldn’t be removed and reinstalled without ruining the strap. I also didn’t want to drop $50 on a Spurcycle bell as that would cover the cost of something else like clipless pedals, which I need to buy.Install - Install was relatively easy. Just turn the screw to tighten or back out the adjustable band. I did have a little difficulty getting the small plastic collar on around the end of the band to keep the extra length of the band tucked in. I installed it on my left hood as you can see in the photos. I ring the bell using my thumb to pull back the striker. It took a moment to get the right angle so that the bell didn’t interfere with the brakes/shift lever.Experience so far - It works great. I admit the first few times I tried to use my thumb to pull back the striker, I flubbed it and didn’t get a clear tone, but now I can do it easy with a light flick. The bell is loud enough to be heard by other cyclist or pedestrians when I’m approaching. Even though the band comes around the hood, I don’t notice it at all as the grip feels fine (note – I do wear gloves). The best thing is I don't have to take my hands off the hoods to ring the bell, I can keep going, hit the bell and not change hand position.
