With 40-pin ZIF Socket (replaceable), newest model T48 (TL866-3G) programmer is the improvement of TL866II Plus programmer. Based on 32-bit MCU with 120MHZ and 4-layer PCB design, this professional T48 programmer support high-capacity NAND EMMC up to 256GB and programming speed is much higher. Suppport high-voltage chips, VPP Maximum up to 25V, that is what TL866II cannot achieve. Reliable program running of application software, support multi-language menu (English, Russian, Polish, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Czech, Italian). I bought this programmer to burn programs on eeprom for a couple of 8-bit vintage computers. Once you figure out how to use it, it works very well. The documentation could use more proper English, but the menu on top of the app guides you rather well. It took me around 20 minutes to understand the app and after that it was smooth sailing.

The device performed exactly as expected. I used to program ATF22V10 programmable logic devices. I did not use the vendor's software: I used the minipro open source software to control this device. It worked great. At least when using minipro, this device can also do a quick test on most 74-series logic chips (74LS, 74HC, and probably many other families). I thought it was money well spent. Recommended.

Works well for writing SST chips for my Honda. Doesn't read or write in Honda tuning suite. You need to read and right with the manufacturer t48 software on there website. But once done you can pull it up on Honda tuning suite and make adjustments then burn it back to the chip on the t48 software. Takes a little bit more time. but works. Also it's 100 USD less than the moates programmer I was going to buy.

Me parece que es el programador rey de bajo costo que pueden encontrar. Lo compre porque necesito programar una 2732 cuyos voltajes de programación son de 25 V y que esté programador dice soportar, no cómo el modelo anterior el TL866. Es original y viene hasta con una especie de amuleto de buena suerte (algo que jamás había visto en un producto así). Recomendado al 100.

The only down side of this is that you have to use it with the vendor's Windows software. If your infosec practises forbid you from using foreign software on a net-connected machine, that can be a problem. The open source project for driving prommers from Linux has not yet caught up with this hardware but is being worked on. That aside, it works very well.

Did not work with 2716 or 2708 chips. The reads would produce different results each time. It couldn’t write to some chips. One chip was “successful” but did t work properly and a different brand reader found it to be faulty. So, I just couldn’t feel comfortable this was accurate for those chips which is my main need. Too bad because it’s a decent unit overall and seem to have lots of chip support. Just doesn’t work well with older style chips.

The software is good, but it lacks Motorola S-Record support. Only binary and intel hex formats are supported.
