I used it in my classroom for the bathroom. I put it on door and students press in when they go in to let other students know it’s occupied.

The night light gets the job done. We use ours for diaper changes so the baby isnt overstimulated with too much light. While it feels a bit cheaply made, it has proven reliable and hasn't let me down so far. It serves its purpose effectively despite the minor concern about its build quality.

I am aware of the benefits that redlight has for a soothing light at nighttime or in Astronomy observation. The problem with these are that they are very dim. As an temporary safety indicator light for stairs they would be great but I won't be using them in a closet or pantry.

I purchased these lights to use on a Mothman costume for Halloween and they did not disappoint. They were perfect for red glowing eyes! The lights were the right size, easy to work with, just as described. I also liked that they weren’t to bright so I wasn’t blinding everyone, they provided the perfect red glow I was going for. In the review it asks about motion detection, the ones I purchased were touch activated not motion detection so idk what that’s all about.

I bought these lights for my classroom as a way to monitor how many boys and girls were out of the classroom. It did get clicked on and off around 50 times a day so take my description with a grain of salt. They started pretty bright (red in color), but after a few months and a couple of battery changes, it was very dull in color and brightness. It would take many clicks to turn on or off.If you are only needing them for a short time, they're pretty good for the money. If you need them to last, however, I'd recommend you look at other sources. I used these for about half a year in my classroom before having to toss them out.

Bought 14 total for an astronomy star party. They were a little too bright out of the box, but were easy to open and cover the bulb with a piece of red gaffers tape. PERFECT! I placed them by our tent guy wires and inside the tent. So easy to just click on/off.

Red lights do less harm at night because they don't wake you up like blue lights do. They are also supposed to make you produce melatonin -- but that's minor when they are only on for the duration of a trip to the bathroom. These lights work as advertised. Nothing fancy. No motion detection. No fuss, no muss. Push the dome and the light comes on. Push it again, and it goes off. What more could you ask?

The light is too dim, even for mood setting, and when you press the dome to turn the light on, it sometimes takes a couple of tries. Then to shut it of, it often doesn't actually turn off but gives off a small light glow in the center. This is the quality of a dollar-store item, and I don't recommend it.
