Pretty solid u-bolts. Needed them to mount around a trailer tube framing that is about 40mm in width and these worked really well. The bolt hugs framing from underneath the trailer and holds the D-ring to which a motorcycle is strapped. The bolts with 40mm inner width size were only available in carbon steel so will be getting a coat of rust preventer to make it last longer. The washers that came in the packaging are very thin so just buy yourself proper ones unless you’re using the long metal bracket. These were used to haul motorcycle for 2,000miles and no issues

I thought "why do I need a set of four?" When I purchased these. Well I did need four. So everything worked out great. My only issue is finding lock nuts with the same threads. If this came with split washers and locking nuts I would give it Five stars

Used these to mount a storage unit to my Can-Am utility racks. They were a bit longer than I needed but enough thread that I could trim them down if I wanted to.
