Silicone Rubber O-Ring
- Noted for their ability to be used over a wide temperature range and for excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging.
- Standard silicones are resistant to water (to 100°C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils and animal and plant oils, and fats.
- Silicones are generally not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short term to 120°C is possible), silicone oils and greases, acids, or alkalis.

You wouldn't think something this tiny could make such a difference but they do! Slide these over your eyeglass ear pieces up into the hinge area and they make the ear pieces comfortably snug up to your head. No more falling off when I bend over or constantly pushing them up. Give them a try... You will be glad you did!

I like the bowls, they are strong enough for leftovers but the lids won't stay on, they seem to be to big for the bowls. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone if they want to store something in the refrigerator because of the lids.

I purchased a rather expensive pair of sunglasses online and the fit was a bit lose. I liked them a lot so I ordered these little silicone O rings to give them a snugger fit. Simply slide the rings all the way to the hinges and they will reduce the opening angle a bit. They're clear so they aren't noticeable. I've subsequently used them on reading glasses that slide down and fixed that problem. Even shared some with my sister for her Ferragamos! I'm sure there are many other uses so I'm ordering an extra set.

Sink top filtered water faucet was leaking around spout. Both original rings were severed. Replacements are by eye a few thousandths inches fatter, but it’s hard to say what they looked like when new? These fit properly and function is restored.

Needed hinge tighteners for my eyeglasses and could find nothing designed for this purpose except black o-rings. That was not going to work for my transparent frames, so I took a chance. These work perfectly for my intended purpose!
