I have a '96 BMW R850 R with a steering damper that had long since leaked dry. The original seals were very hard to find and extremely expensive if bought in small quantities. 30 to 40 dollars a piece. Found these while searching for alternatives. They fit perfectly and have held up quite well. Only time will tell how they hold up in the long run, but have been absolutely fine so far. Not a drop of leakage in a couple thousand miles. If it changes anytime in the near future, I will try to remember to update this. But if you have an 90's/early 00's R series Beemer bike with a crapped out damper and are having a hard time locating seals or sticker shock on replacements, these are a definite 100% fit.

Easy replacement using the wood screw method to pull the old seal off. No more leaking oil after 10+ hours of ride time and countless shift cycles

Was able to save a lot of money by replacing just the seal and not the entire part. Just make sure you are getting the right size.

The shifter seal was leaking on or EGL 150cc dirt bike. We ordered this seal and it came the next day and the seal fit perfectly. No more oil leaks..
