  • NTC thermistors are ethoxyline resin-enveloped thermistors in small size. Used for temperature measurement.
  • 10K Ohm thermistors are very useful in many applications, and they are light for use.
  • NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors, their resistance drops as temperature increases.
  • Have them in a circuit built to accommodate them, they will work very well and consistently.
  • Widely used for air condition equipments, heating apparatus, electric thermometers, liquid level sensors, etc.

I used this to replace my plug on my EV Charger. This is needed as a temp sensor to determine if there plug is getting hot. Soldering will be needed and some know how on which wire to connect.

So earlier this summer it was time to renew the registration for my 2015 Jeep Renegade which included going for emissions testing. Unfortunately I did not realize that the outside temperature sensor that is in the mirror on the passenger side had gone out during the winter at some point. So needless to say it failed because for some reason a simple temperature sensor that from my understanding only displays what the temperature is on the outside on the dashboard and it throws a permanent check engine light code. I brought it to a mechanic and my only option was to never get it registered again or pay 500+ to replace the entire mirror simply because the sensor was made not to be replaceable so you have to buy the entire mirror again which is ridiculous. So not wanting to pay that price I went looking on different websites and forums and found that I can simply get a thermal resistor and replace it myself and sure enough it worked like a charm. For 12 bucks I can repair that sensor 59 more times if I need to and all it takes is a soldering iron and 5 minutes of your time. So if there's any Jeep owners that come across this situation this is what you need.

These read around 8.5 K-Ohms at room temp while every other 10k NTC that I have reads around 9.5 k-Ohms at the same temp? I measured several of each and the result was the same. I dont think I can use these

If all you want is 1 or 2, they're a ripoff. For weather sensing, you're better off with an I2C temperature + humidity sensor. For getting free shipping, they might be worth it.

This part cleared my ambient air sensor code on my fiat 500c. My heating and cooling operating as should and top will open and close again. Used code reader to clear code.

Worked perfectly. Now what to do with the other 59?
