Screws are super cheap and break off even when a pilot hole is drilled. The caps had no threads inside which is needed to use this product effectively. Don't waste your money here.

Used these to cover some ugly screws on my mailbox. I was disappointed with the quality of the regular black screw that I used and a family member came by and recommended these caps. They worked great and they really improved the look of the mailbox. I made the mailbox myself and powder coated a piece of metal. The screw caps did scratch the powder coat a little bit but as long as you keep them in place, there's no issue. Will they stand the test of time and the beating sun? I don't know yet but so far so good!Also, I didn't use the screws it came with, I used 3 inch long countersink construction screws and it installed nicely.

Used them to attach a wood cover to the box I used to cover the chimney pipe opening for tour gas stove.I have used similar brass colored covers for other house projects but being the stove an pipes are black. Matching these covers worked out well. The one thing is that I bought extras which was good because one of the threaded piece that the covers screw into broke so i just broke open another pack to make it work.
