I had a heavy 1940's table fan that would vibrate the table and the floor below, I could hear the hum downstairs. I used these to replace the feet, and they absorb all the vibration. If I put my fingers where the base sits on the table, I can feel the base vibrate and the table is steady. Downstairs is quiet.

These are fine for what they are, but I wouldn't have described them as "mounts", since they don't have a threaded female receptacle on the other end. They are "feet", or "bumpers", but not mounts. My fault, really: I should have looked closer at the picture that clearly shows a threaded stud on one end and a plain rubber surface on the other. Totally worthless to me; went right into the trash.

These do the job, inserted into the vesa mount I can now lay my TV flat for use as a digital map for D&D etc. Works a treat.

Used to isolate grinder vibrations created by small variations in wheel circumference. Especially a problem with high speed motors. The slightest unevenness of the wheels will create a tremendous amount of vibration at speeds above 1500 RPM. This is especially a problem with buffing wheels and I have yet found a solution other than reduce the voltage to the motor. Either a solid state speed controller for low HP or an expensive Variac (variable transformer).
