  • Linear motion bearings provide freedom of movement in a single direction.
  • Often used in conjunction with cylindrical shaft or rail.
  • The steel ball is in point contact with the shaft and rotates with very little frictional resistance, so as to obtain smooth movement with high precision.

Linear Ball Bearing Motion Slide Units

  1. Grease may be applied prior to use to improve smoothness.
  2. Maintain lubrication of optical shafts and guides during operation.
  3. The recommended load is 80% of the rated load, exceeding the rated load will affect fluidity.
  4. The table needs to be level during installation, otherwise it will interfere with installation calibration.
  5. Require regular cleaning and maintenance.

Ich habe diese Lager als Ersatz für meinen 3D Drucker bestellt, weilich da nach 7 Jahren die bestehenden Lager ersetzen wollte.Nach dem Auspacken und einbauen stellte ich fest, dass diese Lagereine miesere Laufeigenschaft haben als die, die ich als defektausgebaut habe.Werde die nun zurückschicken.Absolut unbrauchbarer Müll!

I bought these to replace worn bearings on the z axis on a cnc 3018. They're looser than the worn out ones I'm replacing.

These bearings are borderline unuseable. Aside from varying quality, several I received had metal shavings inside and unfinished seals. At least 2 are so tight on 8mm rods that they wont even run.I purchased 20 total, 4 were so tight they bind instantly, 3 were loose but would bind randomly, 8 would run properly but loose, and 5 would run but fairly tight. But when installing them on my 3D printer almost all will bind when used in pairs.UPDATE: Apparently my 3d printer has slightly bend rod mounts which cause excess binding. After shimming them to proper spacing the bearings run much better, but with some noticeable binding--certain bearings worse than others. I think this is because of the loose quality of the bearings. I've tried swapping them around and only found 1 or 2 pairs (of my 20 bearings) that run perfectly.Save your money and buy real bearings from a proper brand.

Jedes Lager wird bei mir zuerst in isopropanol gereinigt vom lager Öl und dann mit lithiumseifen Fett gefettet.Man merkt dass hier eindeutig unterschiedlich große Kugeln verwendet wurden. Die Lager klemmen teilweise etwas und haben alles andere als einen sanften Lauf.Für einen 3d Drucker absolut nicht nutzbar.

Balls don't circulate much during operation and leave scratches on hardened shafts. Not a precision component, two of ten were too loose and one too tight.
