  • High-speed Steel Reamers: Accuracy: H7; Cutting Diameter: 1/4"; Tool Flute Length: 48mm / 1.89"; Shank Length: 34.3mm / 1.35"; Overall Length: 92.7mm / 3.65". Provides durability, high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, the ability to maintain sharpness over time.
  • Wide Applications: The reamer is designed to accurately enlarge, smooth or finish holes in stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastic, and wood, widely used in hole repair work, pipe and fittings, woodworking applications.
  • Hand Reamer: The reamer drill bit can be hand operated by use of a wrench, T-handle wrench, extension rod, drill chuck. Used for light cut, repair work, removing stock or simply for enlarging holes.
  • Straight Flute Reamer: Allows chips and debris to escape easily from the hole, well suited for most applications in shallow cuts. Can achieve the required roundness, straightness, and concentricity of the hole.
  • Uncoated Reamer Drill Bit: Features just the base substrate without any additional coatings, used on a wide range of materials. Tapping fluid or cutting oil can be used to lubricate the reamer and workpiece to help reduce friction and increase tool life.

Hand Reamers

High Speed Steel Tool

High-speed steel tools has combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance. Suitable for most general purpose applications.

Straight Flute

Straight flute tools allow chips to collect in the flutes when cutting. Well suited for most applications in shallow cuts. For reaming cylindrical shape holes.

Easy to Use

Can be hand operated by use of wrenches. Great for light cut, repair work, or simply for enlarging holes. Always keep reamers clean, and used with machine oil for long service use.

Features

  • Designed with the base substrate without any additional coatings.
  • With high hardness and durability, the reamers provide finish cuts.
  • Holes can be with exact size and shape after the reamers' processing.

Wide Applications

Used for handicraft processing, and bore machining. Suitable for accurate reaming in aluminum, cast iron, copper, plastic, wood, and other soft materials.

Cut and remove the thin layer metal on hole surface that has been processed, mainly to improve the precision of holes and reduce the surface roughness.Used for semi-finish machining and finish machining of holes.

Tips

Reamers are with one or more cutter teeth. Finished product can be smooth, intact and more beautiful. Reamers can be used to process holes in small cuts based on guiding function, such as: holes with diameter tolerance in ≤IT8; holes with requirements in surface roughness (≤Rz12 generally); holes with requirements in roundness tolerance; holes with requirements in cylindricity; stepped holes (different diameter holes on the same axis); series holes (diameter holes on the same axis) with requirements in high coaxality.

Was not the actual size it said it was. Measured it with calipers and it was out of spec & not even close to the correct size. Ruined my engine head.

Reamer was slightly undersize, not a true .250 inch

This thing looks like it came out of a cave on the Pakistan/Afghan border. The flutes are rusted, there are burrs leftover from the initial flute cutting operation, the heel width varies wildly along the cutting edges . . .The description claims an H7 tolerance (+0 to +0.6 mil). I measure it to be as much as -2.7 mil (undersized), depending on where I measure. That makes it an irregular H12.

appears to be generally OK. there were small burrs at the area grabbed by a tap wrench which caused the tool to be slightly off alignment. with a little grinding the burrs were removed and it then worked correctly.

excellent for reaming a little excess duracoat or alumahyde, even sometimes anodizing, from takedown pin holes.
