I was a bit suspicious of the wire size claim. But I ordered it. The -insulation- is about 1mm, the wire itself seems to be about .35mm, which would make it 28 gauge (AWG). The vendor's description and answers to questions are NOT ACCURATE. (Seems like vendor is measuring diameter of insulation, not diameter of the conductor wire inside the insulation.)
