Every now and then I have to diddle with batteries in small electric devices, because their battery holders lose shape with age. I snip off a bit of this thin copper strip, and use it to shim either ends of the batteries more tightly in their holders. Works great!

Works great welding li-ion batteries if you own a strong battery welder. This stuff is expensive though. There has to be a better way to buy than these small amounts.
