Worked great for my flight sim project. I cut these down and used them as shafts to connect my needles to the stepper motors for analog gauges I 3D printed.

I'm using this as part of the plumbing on a model steam locomotive. Being slightly under 1/8", 3mm works better with the O-ring I'm using.
