I must have read the reviews before I made my purchase (I always do), but I must have let the information race from my mind as soon as I read the words. I was rather startled when I saw the needles in my hands. I've got small hands, but when I held one of the "beading" needles in my, yet again, small hands, it looked as I had the hands of an NFL quarterback and I was handling a grain of sand. And yes. The description informed me that they were about 1 + 1/4" long, but when you actually see them, it's a stunning reminder of just how small an inch is. As for their intended purpose of beading, the delicacy of these means a heavier bead could bend the tiny thing. For me, however, by far the most egregious mistake they make is not found by the eye of the beholder but instead it's found in the eye of the needle. If there is one. The eye of the needle is invisible to the naked eye. I believe that my only hope of getting the thread through the nonexistent (for me), eye would be an act of abracadabra. Not going to happen. These delicate tools are being returned. I am holding my breath that the needles don't snap when I put them in the envelope.

They break way too easily.I am beading and not even using pliers but they still snap within short period.
