I purchased this for my brother to display his father's police hat and to keep it dust free. It works well for the purpose, but I did have to purchase some clear silicone for the sides. The pieces snapped together but did not really stay together so the case tended to fall apart when touched. However, once I glued the sides it has been stable, and the top can still be lifted and removed to access the contents. I removed one star since I required the clear silicone glue/caulk but honestly for the price it does the job well, and I would recommend it (with glue)

The price was right and the size was right, but I expected higher quality. I needed to put it together and the tabs didn’t fit very well in the slots and very easy to crack.

It's true you get what you paid for. I thought an acrylic display case would not matter much if I bought a cheaper one. You have to assemble this one yourself which initially isn't a big deal but the tabs that are supposed to connect the pieces are not big enough to actually reach through the holes of the next piece. So it does not stay together and just Falls apart. I ended up super gluing the sides.

This is one of the worst items Ive ever bought off amazon. It falls apart like a house of cards and the bottom tab broke while putting it together. Should've read the reviews.It killed me to give it a one star review..but you cant leave no stars.

I needed a case for a model plane I built. I found this one and all was good. But one word of advice. The pieces go together, but you will need to glue them because one slight bump and the sides and top will come apart. You will need to glue them not only for stability, but if you want to remove your item and swap it out for something else. Use a glue specifically for plastics. Some glue over time will fog the area.Also, there is an inject point right in the middle of the top which if you display this at eye level then it does not matter. But if you display this where you can see from the top then it does detract from what you are looking at. I gave this 3 stars just for the two reasons which if the pieces are cut tighter and can "snap" together the a star can be upgraded. And if they can move the injection point to somewhere else less noticeable then she gets 5 stars.

It’s the perfect size but had trouble putting it together. I had to tape it in the corners to help keep it from falling apart. Once put together I glued the tabs so it won’t fall apart. It would have been nice if it would have snapped together. Once I got it together it worked.

It is now the center piece of our table. Easy to Assemble. Glued the sides using hobby glue.
