Purchased these for detail work in my modelling room. Very handy for small holes, obviously and for removing small areas for detailing on my model submarine. Used in a high speed dremmel drill as a rotary file as well as a drill. Not broken one yet so very pleased with purchase.

You will break these. Calibrate your press and chuck to a perfect right angle, and you will still break them... My trick is to get the breaking out of the way and use the last 1/4 of the bit to drill a few hundred holes, before getting the rest of the bit stuck in a pcb and having to drill that out with another bit, that will inevitably break. These come in a 10 pack for a reason.

**2 star review is explained at the asterisks..The bits work great. They cut through copper clad boards like butter. They're super tiny so they break easily. That's not an issue, if you use them correctly. Use them in a drill press only, let the bit do the work, and take everything very slow and one bit will last a very long time. You're going to break a bunch..it'll just happen. For example, you'll move something on your bench and accidentally bump your drill press. You're going to realize that you actually bumped the chuck and inadvertently broke the bit. They're brittle and tiny.. take a deep breath, replace the bit, and order more when you're down to the last 3.** the reason I gave these bits a 2 star review, is because before opening the package, 3 bits arrived broken. When these bits already break for no reason, every bit counts. 7 bits is A LOT less than 10 when it comes to these bits. Not just the bits came broken, but the case did as well. The reason I like ordering these bits is because of the case they come in. They don't rest on the bottom of the case..they float in the middle. In the picture you can see on the left is a box of .8mm I had ordered earlier. That one came intact, bits and case. You can see there are three posts which stick out of the clam shell and in to the bit casing. The clamshell on the right is missing 2 posts which I'm sure is what caused the bits to break during shipping.I'm ok with breaking the bits from faults of my own. What I'm not ok with is recieving broken products. If you choose to order these bits just be aware that you might receive a few broken ones

Good Bit but breaks easily. I guess because it is so small.

I use these for jewelry making and they go well with my Dremel tool. Perfect for drilling small holes into metal, glass, or shells.

Sure these are good bits. they are FAR superior to the ones you get by ordering a cheap little hand drill, and fairly durable. I busted 4 out ten so far, but I cannot say that is the fault of the drill bits. These are fast and sharp, but after drilling 40+ little pin holes on your first circuit board making adventure, you start to realize why so many people just pay for stuff from a factory.

Drills cut through PCB easily without leaving burrs on opposite side. Good deal.
