They are nice sturdy posts, and was what I was looking for for my application

I needed 6mm HSS rods that were heat treated and that is just what I received. The only minor issue is the manufacturer laser engraves on the side. This could be a problem in some applications but not in most. I'm ordering more.

I bought 1.7mm x 200mm for clearing the filament receptacle on my Prusa MK3 3D Printer, and it works like a charm. After disabling the automatic feeder I am able to insert to steel rod and clear out any filament blockages. My only complaint is the Prop 65 Warning indicating that the steel rod is going to give me cancer or cause birth defects.

I assumed that being listed as 5mm ment it would be 5mm. Guess thats my fault for assuming such idiotic ideology.. because it is not 5mm

I made wood turning tools from these. Inexpensive HSS bar made very low cost lathe tools.

Bought these to replace a bent rod from my DAA powder check. Did the job, and is straight and squared enough for that purpose. 150mm is a little shorter than the factory rod (which seemed to be closer to 175mm), but still has enough height to do the job. 200 would presumably work fine as well.

As others have said, they are fairly straight, but definitely not precision. They may work for a hobby machinist like myself, but I can’t fully recommend.

Product is exactly as advertised. Seems to be good quality, will know better after I reshape and sharpen for wood turning tools. Retailer was as prompt as possible in getting these to me.Would order from them again.

0.03mm is 0.0012" inches, so applying rounding errors, safe to say pieces were kept to a tolerance of about +/- 0.001" which is very good. (My digital calipers had a precision of 0.01mm and 0.001" respectively so 0.3mm could have been 0.025mm - 0.035mm and 0.001" is really 0.0005" to 0.0015" inches. Two of the pieces were slightly less than 4.00mm and three were slightly over 4.00mm, which makes me think it's a 50/50 shot of getting over under. The parts I needed these for were 4.00mm bore (some were other uxcell parts) and they had their own tolerances. For the least frustration (not the fault of uxcell here) I recommend buying twice the amount you think you need if you need slightly under sized to fit through 4.00mm bore metal parts.Even the slightly over sized (4.03mm) rods could be press fit (hammered) through the tighter 4.00mm bores of the parts I was using, but I personally preferred under sized rods to slide through.
