These are pretty much garbage. They were made that way by a very poor job cutting them to length (clearly sheared rather than cut & ground. They're basically garbage for anything mechanical. I'm really frustrated that I didn't see the other 1 star reviews before buying this for a time-critical project.

These are basically shear-cut pieces of poor quality steel wire. Not the perfectly round, correct tolerance, hardened steel linear guide rails I was expecting. Length tolerance was around +/-5mm.

Exactly what I ended them for. Fit true to size. Works well

Perfect for my project. High quality stainless steel. Although thin they are solid stainless steel, so cutting them was not easy. Which can be a good or bad thing. Highly recommend.

I use these for drive shafts in my friction drive German equatorial mount.

If you need close to 50mm in length for your application. As others have mentioned the ends are oval and likely from their cutting process. Only 1 out of 10 rods were true and able to slip in a 5mm ID bearing. if you need 50mm or shorter, better off starting with a 100mm-200m rod and cutting it down to your size using the middle of the rod to ensure 100% true round shape.Sad part is 1 of the rods did work. That means they have the capability to cut 100% correctly but either very poor QC or process. I will be returning these 10 and buy from a different manufacturer.

The pictures are from each end. So both ends are not round. The measurement in length is pretty accurate, but it looks like the ends are cut with a paper cutter that smushes the ends. I was using this for a voron M4 build, but I can't as they will not fit into the bearings. The advertised pics looks like it's round and polished and circular. My pictures are of the items that I received. I don't recommend this purchase.
