These appear to be well made, and for under $2.50 per bit they are certainly a great value. I bought them for one specific purpose - to cut precise 6mm recesses for pearl position markers on guitar fingerboards. In ebony they cut a slightly oversized hole, although the bit shank is the correct diameter. These are steel, not carbide, so I should be able to grind down the diameter slightly to adjust the hole size. For normal woodworking needs they seem to work great. Haven't tried them on metals yet, but will update the review if I do.Update: Ran a bit at 900 rpm and just kissed it with a whetstone. It now cuts precise 6mm holes. Two of the four bits cut an accurate hole with no adjustments. The two I initially tried may have had a small burr or flare at the tip.

I needed some extra end mills since I destroyed my last one. These are inexpensive and since I don't use an end mill all they often are perfect for my use.
