I was afraid since it looks quite fragile, and even more so in my case, since I intended to use - and used - a handheld electric drill. I employed here a press attachment for handheld drill ($30 or $35) which I screwed to a specially constructed holder of the part intended to work with; It was pretty stiff as a whole. Additionally I predrilled a shallow hole with shorter drill bit intended as starting point to minimize possible bend/break. I drilled sixty wooden pieces of the project with about three inch long hole in each piece. All I managed to do with only one drill bit and finished it while this bit still in perfect condition.

I figured these came in a 5 pack because they were garbage but it was the only long 2.5 mm drill I could find so I gambled and ordered them anyway. I had to drill several holes in 6061 Aluminum with a cordless drill and never even used up one bit. The bit worked so well I didn't even bother changing to the short bits when I didn't need to reach that far. They even flex without breaking. Completely satisfied! Order these with zero reservations.
