I use this to see if there are any scorpions in my house. Only caught one since i've had this. They really glow in the dark! Definitely throws out a lot of light for this.

When we moved into our new home our dog completely forgot she was trained to pee outside. The carpets through out the home were her target. Though I steam cleaned and spot treated everywhere I thought she hit, this light helped me identify where I missed as well as look for new spots after I cleaned up the first time. Bright and wide beam used best in dark room.

I bought this light to search for tomato worms at night and it works amazing the flashlight is so bright it lights up the tomatoes very easily this also would be great to use to find bodily fluids as well this thing is super bright

Be prepared for what this light will show you. It’s very strong and shows everything! Things you may have thought you had cleaned up? Clean it again! Lint? Vacuum again! It did clearly show me one tiny spot my cat went outside the box but thankfully showed me that he is not randomly peeing all over. It absolutely works very well and is light weight.

....you should try to have the area you're scanning as dark as possible. The darker, the better. Just found out how sneaky my dog really is. I could smell it, but now I KNOW. Works perfectly.

En realidad no es que particularmente sirva para saber donde hay orines de mascota, es que en general la luz que provee ayudar a encontrar diferentes tipos de suciedad. Por ejemplo, algunos tipos de líquidos son visibles bien, o incluso suciedad acumulada por calcio en grifos o espejos. Yo no lo he encontrado particularmente útil para con mis gatos.

We have had a couple of pet urine lights in the past, but this is the best one so far.It takes 6 batteries (not included), but as soon as you see the beam you know why.The room does not have to be pitch dark to see where the pets have sprayed.I am glad we bought this one.

Bought this to find pet stains, and honestly it works amazing, very bright, found out our basement looks like a crime scene....my disgusting cats have some serious explaining to do.

Very impressed with this product so far. The idea of using multiple LEDs to achieve brightness is brilliantIllumination - the beam that is given off is so strong you can even see some stains in broad daylight! When all the lights are off, the beam illuminates all the stains and mess the naked eye can't see. It was equally able to detect stains on hard and soft surfaces and even showed water/dirt stains (like on kitchen counter back splash). This is going to make it so much easier to clean up. I don't have scorpions in my location - but I know they would light up bright if the light is shined on them. Going to test on spiders when they start appearing this spring.Check pictures - before and after the spot was illuminated with the light - YIKES!Build - The body of the flashlight is very sturdy, but is a bit on the heaver side although it comes with a nice wrist strap. The light is easy to hold and felt solid even though the lens enclosure tends to make it heavy-ish.Power - Although the light takes several batteries, it seemed to hold power for some time. I used rechargeable batteries and it worked flawlessly.I would definitely recommend this product - great purchase at a great price. Now - off to clean!

This light helped me to find my cats urine on the carpet, like nothing else. This is a godsend, although I don't understand why they say to take batteries out when you store it...maybe someone can help me with this question?The inconvenient thing is that it doesn't say, anywhere, in big letters, that batteries are not included...I happened to have a lot of batteries, because I am in hurricane territory, but this would be a real let-down to someone who expected it to come with batteries. ( AA batts, six of them ).The other thing is that once you put the batteries in the little white plastic holders, before you put them in the flashlight....there should me better diagrams on how to set each battery in.....for idiots like me, who almost couldn't figure this out, Plus (+) and Minus ( - ) .....also , I had to flip the casings around a couple times to get the right position in the cylinder...again, don't assume that we all know this stuff, its was a struggle, but once I got this thing together, WOW, was it a great help finding cat urine !! The best and combined with Natures Miracle that I poured on the pee spots, I now have a nice clean rug again, no smell at all.

This is not a cheap flashlight, the quality is very good and bright. For the price, I think batteries should come with this flashlight. Six AA batteries are required to feed it.Derek Munro.
