UPDATE: using this 3x a week and the cable that allows this to work snapped off in less than a month. Legit the day after my refund window closed. Posted pictures. I've tried everything to fix this. Looking at other reviews and I see that others have received there's like this which makes me realize that they are sending out the returned products as new. As you can see in the Pic there's a notch on the area where the cable goes around. This item is either trash or I got a defective one. Should've returned like I said I was now it's a waste of money. This stair stepper came wrapped and cushioned nicely. All I had to do was cut off two zip ties, remove the foam, and connect the bands to the stepper. Simple and easy to get started right out of the box.At first the stepper was really wobbly and I couldn't figure out why until I flipped it over and seen the bottom pads were flipped upside down. Once I fixed that it was time to try it out again. It was very easy to work out on, very sturdy, and I loved having the resistance bands with this machine. Unfortunately I don't think it's a good value for the money. The machine itself is quiet but there is a clack clack sound every time you put your full weight on the step (think of how heels sound when you hear them on marble flooring lol) the so called screen on it doesn't track anything. I worked out for 20 minutes and it only tracked 3 steps. The "knob" that tightens and causes more resistance does absolutely nothing and is useless. The only thing I like is the small size which allows the ease of storing and pulling it out and the resistance bands. This to me isn't really worth it I think a walking pad would be more beneficial and I've seen some here on Amazon the same price so I may go that route instead.

I was needing something to get more steps in of an evening but also wanted something that was compact so I could still spend time with the family of an evening. This is so small and fits in the corner of the living room. Could also be stored under the bed or closet. This will really humble you and get you sweating quickly! The kids even love to hop on it while they’re watching tv. A bonus to get some activity in while indulging in your favorite shows!

Love this! It’s so fun and easy to use doesn’t take up a lot of space, it came assembled and I feel my glutes and legs getting stretched!

I was hoping for something that would be more like a real stair stepper, this doesn’t have enough lift for me to really feel like I’m doing stairs. It comes super loose and I got my hands all greasy trying to get the cable onto the track. Then if you don’t get the cable tight enough, it won’t register on the screen at all that you are actually working out. I think in a pinch if will do for some workout training. I definitely wouldn’t try to use it without the resistance bands, but I don’t know how much good this will do on the day to day.The LCD screen does work well, its a little dark but it’s easy enough to read and to its credit, the machine is very quiet.
