Easy to install seems like pretty good material, but the holes are not drilled in the correct spot at least not for the red dot that I have

Got it in the mail today was super excited then I open the box and the dovetail and screws are missing!! Not sure how that happens but not so excited anymore. I got a refund and just ordered an other one, will see if it comes complete this time. Frustrated!

How is UTG going to produce a mount where the main screws are too short! The dovetail screws were applied without much trouble, but after setting my reflex into the 4 notches, I tried securing it in place with the supplied #6-48 screws only to find they don't reach far enough to bite down. And yes, my sight is the correct footprint.

Product is good… looks durable…but I returned it because it kind of looks funky when you put it in the dovetail for a red dot… better to get it custom milled for a red dot !!!

I bought this to mount a Vortex Viper on my M&P. It looks great, very sturdy, it's slimmer and build quality is much nicer than the ADE dovetail mount.Highly recommended if you're looking to try a pistol optic before committing the funds for an RMR and milled slide.Update: put about 200 rounds with this on, seems to have no problems holding zero. I put loctite on the mounting screws and I used the ones that came with the Vortex. Very happy with it so far.

thin. sturdy. bolted down firmly in place and didnt budge after 4 mags of .40 at a decent cadence. very happy so far. if it stays in place and doesnt fail, it will prove to be an excellent investment. after other brands with the hole on the upper plate continued to fail even with loctite, this was a last attempt to avoid machining the slide. so far it looks like it'll work well. i'd recommend it.

Fits a glock 19 perfectly. Read a review that it had to be shaved- not so. I have a simple pretty standard sight removal device and it literally took minutes to get the old rear sight off and this on. Made for the utg but I believe most ADE optics mini reflex’s fit if your looking for a cheaper alternative. Mine fit snug as a rug and this has a much slimmer profile and almost makes shaving the slide stupid as this comes on and off so easily and you get to keep your slide. Very happy

This was purchased for a Glock 19 Gen 4, to mount the inexpensive UTG red dot sight. The Glock rear sight is removed, an insert installed into the dovetail slot, and the sight mounting base attached to the insert with two screws. This seems to be a solid platform, and my sight appears to be quite secure when mounted. A slight collar around each hole in the dovetail provides good indexing of the sight base. Mounting screws come with a bit of blue thread locker applied.The potential installation issue is that the insert is extremely tight in the dovetail slot - not much chance that the mount will drift sideways with use. This is similar to, or perhaps tighter than, a replacement sight. Fortunately I already had a sight pusher tool; I would not have been able to tap this insert into place with a mallet and drift punch. An alternative would be to file a bit off the insert, but it is small and may be difficult to work with. The "Ade Advanced Optics Glock Tactical Mini Dotx Sight Pistol Mount Base" (also sold on Amazon) may be a better option for those without sight pushers. My ADE dovetail insert for another Glock pistol fit loosely enough to be easily inserted by hand. The mounting base is slightly curved on the sides, conforming to a stock Glock slide to both capture the insert and to be self-centering. The base mounting screws tighten up the assembly and hold it in place.The UTG mount fits the ADE sight, and the ADE mount accommodates the UTG sight. This seems to be a somewhat "standard" pattern used by Burris, Docter, Vortex, and others.This type of mount can be very good for those who want to experiment with inexpensive red dots before buying higher-end sights and milled slides, though the sight will sit noticeably higher without slide milling. The UTG has been a high quality mount so far.

I can confirm the UTG Super Slim RDM20 mount does fit a Gen 5 Glock 17 and a Vortex Venom. A sight press is highly recommended as it is a tight fit.

Mounted UTG 4moa micro red dot on my G17 with this mount and it works awesome. Easy to install.

Looks good but I have not tried it on my firearm
