EDIT: The Electronic Input Dial just needed a bit of use. It works perfectly now. The pics are great. Autofocus isn't perfect on every shot, but film is a much more forgiving medium than digital. I even shot with a third party EF-compatible telephoto zoom. No problem at all.I wanted a robust, high-quality film camera that worked with all of my new Canon EF lenses, and this fits the bill. When it arrived the main dial (Electronic Input Dial) was only working intermittently. After playing with it for a bit, the dial regained full function, so I'm hoping it just temporarily stuck a bit from age and lack of continuous use.The dial issue aside, everything else appears to work. Autofocus, light metering, film advance and rewind, DX film speed sensing, all of the shooting modes. It accepts all of my new EF lenses and can autofocus through them quickly and easily. Full manual mode is tricky to get quick and proficient with, but I already knew this when I ordered the camera, and it will just take some practice.

Camera is a great semi-auto Canon SLR It as [P] program, [TV] shutter speed priority, [AV] F stop priority, & [M] Manual, (You set everything). I LOVE analog photography. The auto focus truly SUCKS!!! Like almost all early auto focus cameras. Auto focus usually fails with zoom lens and neutral backgrounds. I do a lot of nature photography, so; I have a lot of nondescript sky as background; especially, when tacking pictures of raptors in flight or on saguaros. The flat blue sky confuses the AF every time I use MF, manual focus. The Camera's great. I would buy it again

Really really nice. Scans the film and pushes it as intended. Works well with EF mount lenses as advertised.

Awesome camera. Just works. Not complicated just a solid camera. For $35 you can have what was once a professional AF camera.

Nice camera and very good design. But I have found two minuses (this why minus two stars):- only center sensor for autofocus- 2cr5 battery, hard to find chargeable, and not that cheap (there are non-rechargeable, but I refuse to use non-rechargeable batteries in slrs...)Otherwise, simplicity is great in this camera. It has a LOT of features, but are elegantly hidden. I wish they did such digital slrs today...

Well, I suppose I should give a good thank you to the seller. The price was right and the camera was in pristinecondition (from 1987!) and it is as if it has been sitting in a temperature controlled safe for the past 25 years.Everything works, no scratches or blemishes. Like a new camera. And only $25. How cool is that?!Just started using it with Ilford black and white film because digital hasn't figured out how to do it as well as film yet.Haven't developed my first roll yet but I am confident it will turn out as it should with the only inconsistencypossibly being operator error.I also own a Canon T3i that I use for digital photos and video. I primarily use my Zeiss EF F2 that is interchangeableon both cameras.I plan to scan my b+w photos as extremely high resolution scans. Maybe put a book together of old buildings, landscapes, andmodels.
