Tried plugging in directly to laptop, to adapter, and replacing the battery. It was spotty at best, near and far distances.

Pros: lightweight, rechargeable, good range, simple setup, covers all the basic functions (forward, back, full screen, black screen, open hyperlink), green laser is visible but not overly brightCons: no battery indicator, battery seems to drain quickly, not all functions work the same with all presentation software (for instance full screen and black screen do not work with Pitch, buttons for forward/back are swapped in Pitch/PowerPoint, etc), minimalist instructions could be betterFor reference I'm using the presenter with a 2024 MacBook Pro. Overall I'm happy with how it's working and I love that it's smaller and lighter than my previous clicker. Not knowing the battery level and the fact that it takes a longer-than-expected time (20 or so minutes) to charge after just a few min of use has me wondering about it's ability to survive all day presentation sessions but will report back if I encounter any serious issues.

I have several of these spread over classrooms at our church building. Several teachers use them occasionally so they do not always get turned off and put away. But the units shutdown and save the batteries. Very nice and compact. They are inexpensive so I give them to some of our teachers to keep.

Nice and slim, green pointer is plenty bright. Only improvement would be usb-c rather than micro-usb for charging-- not a big deal.
