I love these things. I have used them twice. Once to replace the ever-depleting battery for the tail wag of my Felix the Cat clock. I was changing this battery every other month, but no longer. The other use was to turn a battery-operated thing into a device that could be controlled by my smart home. Battery-operated lights always need to be turned on and off, but no longer. And the added benefit of smart home control is great.

This works great for an old guitar ('fuzz') pedal that I have that uses one AA battery. It goes through batteries pretty quickly so it's nice to have an alternative that I can just plugin instead. Also, I did notice a bit of noise but it wasn't a big deal as I could turn down the tone knob on the pedal and then it went away (could be related to my old pedal??).

This is such a helpful tool! I have a (fake) neon sign on my wall that is battery powered and I hated to have to take it off the wall to switch it on and take it off the wall again to switch it back off. I did an online search to see if there was a way to convert batteries to a plug or usb instead and lo and behold it does exist! Now I have it plugged into a plug with a remote and I can turn the sign off and in at will. Awesome.

This gadget is so frigging handy. I got this Dollar Tree UV light for nails that takes 3 AAA batteries and I was constantly having to replace them. A huge waste!Enter this guy who uses a standard USB plug and is wired to the yellow "battery", and the other 2 green ones are there to fill in the other battery spots. You simply insert them the same exact way you would with normal batteries. Easy peasy. I said buh-bye batteries! The USB cord is definitely long enough for my use. It works splendidly. The only teeny tiny issue I have is that I can't put the battery cover back on (which is the entire top of the UV light). But, I could actually cut a tiny notch in it allow the wire through. So to me, that is a non-issue.And now that I know this bad boy exists, I can use it to replace some more battery operated things I have.

Used in a babies mobile. Was going through batteries every day. Now never again. No batteries required and it never dies. Cord is long. No complaints

It works as advertised, I used it to to convert a wireless mouse that I got tired of changing batteries on.the cable feels a little flimsy though, just a basic red/black wire pair like you'd find at a hardware store. Makes it feel like someone's DIY electronics project more than a finished product.
