In all fairness, I assume that any pre-extising connection via mini USB on my SpO2 watch might work after using the adapter. Finger probe is a type c connector. But does not work with the adapter.If I use a probe with mini usb, the SpO2 works, so nothing work with the mini USB port, it is just that adapter does not covert the port to type C.

First, who came up with the review criteria for this item? Sheerness? Thickness? Adhesion? OK, so maybe the last one infers that the plugs fit snuggly, but that's a two-part issue that can't be adequately fixed by only one end of the connection.Real review: I didn't want to use my old min USB cables that are more than a decade old, plus all my new stuff (e.g. PC) uses USB-C, so what's not to like here? The mini USB format had the shortest life of any USB variant, but if you have stuff with that interface that you're still using, this is great to have at hand. Construction is good, as far as I can tell, and it worked great on one of my older Arduino boards, which is my main reason for getting these. I also recently got a Chinese Pulse/Oximeter (PO) that uses mini USB and connects to my smartphone with a USB-C, so I don't need to use their included messy cable that only went to a ordinary USB A plug which would require another adapter to connect to my phone. But it was cheap -- the PO that is.
