Exchanged emails with support and still could not get it working, have asked for a refund on subscription.I purchased from a different vendor and hotspot works fine with sim they provided.

To be honest I haven't used it yet because I got it for my parents who're visiting. But I'll update if the product turned out to be something below my expectations.

At the time of this review this item was priced at $29.99.The package included a Data SIM card.This is strictly a DATA SIM for an UNLOCK 4G LTE HOTSPOT. The installation and setup was straightforward. Add the APN "unet' , select, and RESTART your device. There are several helpful online videos to assist.The DATA SIM can be installed in your UNLOCKED phone; however, you will be unable to make and receive phone calls.The DATA SIM Card will provide 10GB for 30 days for your UNLOCKED device. NO ACTIVATION FEE, NO CREDIT CARD, NO CONTRACT.After the 30 days you can select a dataplan. Unfortunately the data plans available are higher than my present plan.

I've been using an ATT 4G SIM for a cellular gateway for a year without issue. I recently decided to change service due to cost so I ordered this.When I first installed the SIM and updated the APN, the gateway could not contact the carrier. I then reset the gateway and retried. Finally I was able to connect (T-Mobile network, which is notoriously poor in my area). After installing the VPN client, I was able to successfully log into the router...but then the connection dropped after 2 days and I haven't been able to log in for 2 weeks. Further, the VPN server shows the connection with the router has been dropped.One year with no problems and suddenly there are problems.

Once installed my phone automatically switched onto the T-Mobile Cellular Network and I was fully connected just as if my phone was connected to a WiFi network.

If you need a data only pay as you go sim, then this one works great. It was super easy to get the device connected to data service and didn't require anything crazy. I have not had any issues not having data service so far as it uses the AT&T network.
