If the coin will not fit through the slot then it is FAKE and probably made out of stainless steel. These counterfiet copies are being mass produced and can be purchased for pennies by anyone online. Coin buyers, stackers and investors are going to see more and more these forgeries. These counterfiet coins are becoming more and more common; BEWARE. These fraudulent coins look very authentic but are too thick because they are made out of stainless steel and not silver..or gold plated brass.

These are small and useful to use for a quick check when out at sales, but additional methods need to be used.I was able to test these out on vintage coins, and they were ok on most of the coins.I plan on using them to weed out some of the coins and this allows me to focus on coins that need further examination.
