I ordered this earlier this week and figured I'd see it in a couple of weeks, because it needed to be custom made. Imagine my surprise only 48 hours later, when the sign arrived, perfectly custom and even nicer than the picture online. The sign is not made with raised letters, but is reflective, like a street sign.Our home is on a corner, and people are forever missing the house because the house next door is 16 and our house looks like it is supposed to either belong to the street around the corner or be numbered 18. It's actually numbered 20, and can be hard to find in an emergency. This solves that problem. I set up the sign perpendicular to the road, so an ambulance can find the house easily.My only complaint is with the plastic cap that goes on the metal support post for the sign. It didn't fit well and broke as we were putting it on the post. Fortunately, I have epoxy putty and repaired the cap. A metal cap or one that is already installed would be a lot nicer and less of a hassle to deal with (so I docked it a star on installation) But when repaired, it will be beautiful.For the money, this is a wonderful sign. It shows all signs of lasting forever and a day (how often do street signs wear out?), and will give my family added protection in the event that we need an emergency vehicle find our home.

For as long as I can remember, the only way to identify my mom's place was by the mailbox or using landmarks to find the house, unless you had general knowledge of where it was at. With the advent of technology, Google Maps didn't help matters any either because the location pin for the property/home right smack dab in the middle of the field adjacent to the property/home (it's our field) that's down another road.When I inherited the property last year after my mother's passing, I would have to tie balloons or ribbons on the mailbox as an indicator to let people know where the driveway was so they wouldn't (a)pass it or (b) get lost. After the first couple of times, this got really old. What made things worse was that there is a large hedge that blocks the view of the driveway (not our hedge) that hasn't been cut in years.I decided to order the 30" 911 Home Address Sign to put in the yard to alleviate the problems of people not being able to find the house. I really think that I should have ordered a taller one, but we made it work.The quality and craftsmanship is excellent! When you order from Address America, they even include a note in the package from the person who assembles the item in it, which I thought was nice. The note said "It was my humble pleasure to create this item for you, thank you for your business" signed - the person who assembled it (but I can't remember their name).With the varying landscape of the front yard, the sign was a bit short (this was my fault). So what I did was, I took a piece of rebar that the sign post would fit over and put it in the ground with a sledge hammer. I then slid the sign post over the top of the rebar so that it the bottom of the sign post just barely rested on the ground (but not in the ground to make it too short).Overall, I am quite pleased with the sign, just a word of advice, make sure you take the height of the pole into consideration when purchasing. Otherwise I feel you'll be quite pleased with the product!P.S. Not sure why the photo loaded upside down. When I uploaded the photo to the review, it was uploaded in it's correct format and view (rightside up)

Perfect. Very reflective, super sturdy, and pretty. Easy to hammer in. The top looks fragile, but you can just hammer the top decoration piece as if it were a big nail. Goes right in the ground and looks so nice.

Very attractive & useful; exactly as pictured. Came quickly & in excellent shape. Even came with an extra finial in case the original got busted in shipping!! Just a note; I purchased this as a gift & would probably order the taller size; if I was to order another one.

Good reflective letters. Takes less than a minute to install. While not intrusive it can be seen from a distance. Good design for suburban or countryhouse
