It would be nice to have directions releasing the bar once it is in place is trail and error for me but it holds items in place in my 2024 Tacoma

No problem with product, just delivery. Supposed to be on back porch which is covered. Was on uncovered front porch with several other packages. Even had a note on front door to place on back porch.
