I have a project coming up involving webbing and bought this in prep of the project. Have not done it yet but I've used similar one for years and anticipate no issues.

Es realmente útil para estirar el lienzo a la hora de fabricar un cuadro. Lo recomiendo ampliamente...

Really did not work well. They're decent weight but did not feel sturdy and did not do well for what I needed for canvases. I ended up donating them rather than dealing with a return. The only positive I could say if they're of a really solid/heavy weight.

Cast iron or steel construction, very heavy duty, should last forever. However, the inside of the handles are not deburred adequately, relatively sharp and will get irritating quickly. Also there's a sharp pinch point that could take bit out of you if careless. I'll spend a minute with a grinder to round the edges but shouldn't really need to. If you don't might a bit of DIY to clean them up you'll never worry about breaking them.Better options? Probably, but for my project not worth the effort to return and try something else. Wishing for the good old days when you could go to a store and actually get hands on before buying.

When stretching canvas you need the grips to hold the fabric but these do not. We could not use them. I would not recommend them.

I recovered two art canvasses in a matter of minutes. The pliers worked as I hoped they would. I love the fact that these pliers are made of cast iron, which means they will last for years to come. An excellent product, east to use, and made the job easy and look professional.

This is clunky and basic, but it does the job you want done. Yeah, a return spring, and a better finish would be nice, but you don't really need the bells and whistles. Can't beat it!

I have been using these pliers for approximately 2 months and though they did the job (until a few days ago) they were never great. The pliers themself have super sharp jagged edges from where the metal was cast that were never filed down or polished for the end-user. These points would jab and snag on your skin and even draw blood if you weren't careful enough. Even these pitfalls I seemed to navigate while still using them somewhat effectively until the day I went to pull a side of my canvas tight and one of the pieces just cracked in half. And let me remind you this is after 2 months of moderate usage by only me. I would save your money and invest in something of higher quality.
