The Amazon compatibility tool said it wouldn't fit, but the compatibility tool is wrong. Also note that the same part for the passenger side (URO Parts 8658945 Side Marker Light, Right), DOES fit this car, according to the same compatibility tool, so they're clearly wrong about this part. I hope they correct this. Installation tip: You don't need to open the inner fender to remove the old part. Just slide a pair of plastic putty knives under the gasket from both sides to push the tabs together. As for the wiring connector, Like most Volvo wiring connectors, I couldn't figure it out, but since the old bulb socket was perfectly okay, I didn't install the new one. If your bulb socket still works, just twist it counter-clockwise to remove it and twist it into the new light housing.

Simple to install because it was a perfect fit. Rubber gasket provided but my vehicle did not require it.

While the part appears as if it will work, it is not as snug of a fit as the original OEM part. The pressure clamps on the side are slightly smaller so the part does not snap into place as tight as the original. I pulled out on the plastic pieces slightly and it seemed to help but I am concerned that it will go back to the original shape, loosen and fall out. Time will tell.
