When I removed the old part, it disintegrated in my hands. I ordered this one and it is an exact fit. I also replaced the coolant tank. I learned to always replace the sensor. They are old and the heat just does them in. So if you replace your coolant tank, replace this part too. I had to order after I ordered the tank. Save yourself the trouble.

I had to replace the coolant tank because it became brittle and started to crack. As I removed the sensor, it also broke due to the heat. The new sensor fits and looks like OEM. I would buy this brand again.

I ordered this for replacement on a Mercedes 350 CLK. It was one third the price of Mercedes part and installed in 5 mins. It fixed the low coolant warning on my dash. saved me big money on having someone else do it. Its been about a week now and still working fine.
