Expected these to be like regular shoelaces, flat, but instead they were tubular/rounded so don’t go with most styles of sneakers.

These are nice oval laces - perfect for any athletic style shoe. The dark blue is a perfect navy color. If you have 6 or 7 rows of eyelets, you need 54" not 45"! Good value and quality.

I got the 40" long ,black, 3-pack. For lacing a 5-hole casual shoe/sneaker. When my lace broke previously, I got a shorter replacement, 36 or 38" (I can't recall) ,based upon the package saying it would fit. That lace was too short, leaving only about 3" on each side for tying. Next time : I got 48" laces. Those were too long. Looking on Amazon, I saw that the sellers do not agree on the lengths required for each # of holes. I don't know why -- but it is true.So, this time, I was looking for a size close to 40". Not all sellers/manufacturers have the same standard lengths. And, not all sellers have the length you are looking for in the color that you need.These laces being reviewed happened to be available in the 40" length I was looking for, in black, and in the oval shape. At $2/pr, these were a good deal (except that I don't need 3 pair). After spending some time trying to buy a pair of shoelaces in brick and mortar stores, and not finding the correct length, color, shape anywhere -- Meijer, dollar stores, Walmart -- I gave up. It was simply easier to buy on Amazon, and less expensive. (I know the last pair of laces I bought in a store was about $2.50)These laces fit fine for a 5-hole men's size 10 casual shoe.

They appeared well made. But after lacing up my shoe noticed something was off as one appeared longer. I ordered 48" and one measured 50" and the other 48.75".Then checked the other pairs and wow what a difference in every one up to 2" variance worst case.Maybe I'm being picky but never noticed such a difference in length on any of the shoelaces I've used before though never measured them.I sorted the 3 pairs so had ones that pairs which were closest.They still seem like good laces I suspect they will stretch over time. I'd have given it less stars but the price was the lowest I could find on Amazon and they are just shoelaces.I'd still recommend them and buy them again as they seem strong and good material just they must not sort well or measure what they make. I could see .25 to .5 variance but 2 inches is quite a bit of play.

Trois critères me semblent importants pour des lacets.- ils doivent être suffisamment solides. ceux-ci le sont.- ils doivent ne pas trop s'user à l'usage. Ceux-ci le sont aussi.- ils doivent ne pas trop glisser pour que les nœuds ne se défassent pas constamment. Ceux-ci glissent au début mais après quelques semaines d'usage tout rentre dans l'ordre
