This surfboard sock is surprisingly well-made, especially for a sock. The material has some decent thickness, so it can handle minor bumps without issue. It’s stretchy enough to hug various board widths snugly, which is a nice touch.My 9'4" longboard slides right into the 10' sock with room to spare—maybe a little too much room. Unfortunately, there’s no 9'6" option, which would’ve been perfect. But if you’re looking for lightweight protection that won’t weigh you down, this gets the job done.

I got this board sock for an extra layer of protection when traveling. I use a padded surf bag but always like to have a sock between the board and the bag to avoid any minor scratches. This is a decent sock, though I’d prefer it were thicker. It has the added feature of a padded nose which is great protection for travel! There is a handy little pocket inside but I don’t use it as anything inside may cause scratches. The cinch cord works well and keeps the closure tight.
