My dog has Addison’s disease and a part of the treatment causes her excessive thirst. We had to take up her regular bowl bc she’d try to drink it all and then would have to get the water off her stomach. This happened several times until I found this bowl which makes it to where she can drink but she gets much less water and it takes her much longer to lap it up.The bowl is an attractive bowl and goes well with my home. I’m very happy with this purchase.

My dog used to always never know when to stop and would drink the whole bowl and throw up. With this bowl, we’ve had it for about 2 months, and he hasn’t thrown up once! He gets to drink as much water as he wants without the upset tummy! If you have a fast drinker who doesn’t know when to stop, this is perfect!

I just made sure there was a little bit of water in the top part by filling it up as much as possible. As she would take a drink, the floater moved enough to allow more water to come up. It works perfectly! There was absolutely no water on the floor, when she was finished drinking. I love it.

This is definitely worth a try! It stays put, limits splashing, and is so easy to clean. One thing I will say is that it doesn't let hardly any water out, so if your pet struggles to stay hydrated, this is not the thing for you. I also wish it was a little more modern-looking and cute. But overall, very happy with it.

I bought this over 18 months ago for my papillon. He used to drink so fast he'd cough after almost every time. This bowl helped a great deal with slowing him down when drinking. He still coughs sometimes, but not nearly as often as before. It took him less than a minute to figure out how to drink. I just wish they would make a smaller bowl for small breeds (half the size would be perfect for my pap's needs).

I got this to prevent my dog from leaving drips when he drunk water. He has a beard which always made his drinking water habits very messy. This dish has prevented drips. It needs to be washed frequently as it does gather debris on the bottom.

This water bowl was purchased for a messy puppy. We originally tried a bottle that hung on the side of the crate, but this produced so much wasted water and soaked the mat. This bowl solves both issues brilliantly. The small puddle in the middle reduces splashing and minimizes water going up the puppy’s nose. It took a little coaxing to get the puppy to use the bowl initially, but after several tries, the puppy is good with the bowl.Note, for the sake of the puppy, even though you can easily fill the bowl from the top, empty the bowl completely periodically (every 2-3 days) so the water is fresh. The puppy drank less from the bowl when the water became more slobber than clean water. Puppy is still a messy, slobbery drinker, but now the mess stays in the bowl 🙂.
