There are no back straps to help carry the bass on your back or over your shoulder. It has a wrist strap and a small strap across the back with clips but I don't know what it is for.

This is a good quality padded bag. I like that it is a snug fit for my bass. I also like that the two zippers converge at the end pin so I no longer have to search for the hole as I did in my other bag. I do recommend this bag…..

I have seen a few negative reviews about this case/gig bag. I spent a considerable time searching for different cases for my bass. While it plays and sounds amazing, my bass is a cheaper, " Merano," Japanese, plywood bass so I didn't see the point in spending $300.00-$400.00 to replace the case that came with it which was worn out totally non-functional anymore. If I had... say... an old Kay or Engelhardt or something then I would not have purchased this case and would have gone with a more sturdy one. This case is actually cheaper and lighter duty than what I had originally wanted to get, however it seemed like the only options were either really cheap or really expensive... and their was no middle of the road price range which is what I wanted. But, I will have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with this case! It is actually more heavy duty than the case that came with my bass when I originally purchased it about 14 years ago. From the looks of it, I could see this one lasting longer than the original one. If you play a top of the line, or really old bass, I would recommend getting something sturdier, however for entry level type basses, in my opinion, this a REALLY good case or the money!UPDATE: So, a year and a BUNCH of gigs later the case is still holding up well. It's much sturdier than the one came with the bass. If this model is still available when the case wears out, which I expect to be a long while, I plan on getting the same one again.

Cheaply made. The handle clip broke the first time my son used it to carry his instrument for a performance. We ordered in April 2019 but did not use it until the school year started. Because we bought it 4 months prior the seller did not honor the warranty. Even if we have used the case since April, I don’t believe it should break in a 4 months period.

When this arrived, one handle wasn't sewn on all of the way. It looks like it has shoulder straps...it does not. It also doesn't have a hole for the peg, and we all know that means that the peg will make its own hole that will rip out the bottom of the bag. It would work for storage, but I can't see this would work very well for a busy musician.

I like this case a lot! Fit's my 5/8-1/2 size bass perfectly. So far it looks sturdy enough and the handles and zippers look to be pretty good.**Only reason to "Maybe" not give it 5 stars is that this is not a heavily padded case. You need to be extra careful if you are carting a more delicate bass. Probably fine for a plywood basses. But overall a very nice and simple bag!
