The Raptor Liner spray is the bomb! I had a lot of rust spots on a 2008 Chevy Silverado crew cab 4x4 that I had inherited and it was a hot mess. The rear wheel wells were completely eaten away from rust. I had to cut out the rust area it was that bad. I rebuilt them with fiberglass and bondo. I also addressed the rust on other body parts. I sanded and primed those areas. I used 80 grit on my sander and sanded the entire vehicle that was to be sprayed. I also sanded the plastic and chrome by hand. I cleaned the vehicle and taped up those parts that I didn't want sprayed. I purchased UPOL Grip 4 and sprayed the bondo area, chrome and plastic for better adhesion. I had purchased the 8 bottle kit with spray gun and hardener. I set the PSI on my compressor at 55 and I began the spraying. I wore a respirator and gloves. First thing I noticed was that the overspray was very minimal. I was very happy about that. The Raptor material went on perfectly and I started off with a light/medium coat and after waiting an hour the second coat was heavier. I was extremely surprised at how well it went on. I did spend a lot of time prepping the vehicle. I believe that made a lot of difference. I went thru 7 1/2 bottles. I did not spray the bed. Everything else was sprayed to include all chrome and plastic. It turned out fantastic!!! The material covered up the fiberglass/bondo and it looks amazing!!! My wife was shocked from seeing all the rust spots to then seeing a new like vehicle. Treat the rusts if you can't get to bare metal while sanding. The vehicle is curing for the next 4 days. I took the tires off and sanding the rims due to corrosion. I will use etching primer, Rustoleum black wheel paint, and clear coat. I probably had 10 hours of body work due to the rust and fiberglass/bondo. Then another 1-2 hours of taping areas not being sprayed. The spray gun in the kit is perfect for the job. If you have a rusty truck this is the way to go. Fun project!!! I'm now looking for another project truck to fix and Raptor line and I'll flip that truck. Take your time, do the prep work and just have fun watching the transformation.

I don't review things often, most of the time, I'm just not impressed. So, it goes to say, I'm very satisfied and quite impressed. I uploaded a couple photos of 5 days after spraying. I picked up some retaining blocks, sure to do damage to the liner. Yes I know, it looked Soo awesome after I did the spray, why ruin it like that... Well, it's a truck bed, that's what it's meant for. Pictures show how durable it was. I only used 5 of the 8 bottles; I over did it and got too much, added the extra bottle to the bottom because I am rough with my truck.Its pretty easy to use, prep means a lot, get the acid etch, I also primed after scuffing and using the etch on bare metal. You should buy some masking tape, drop plastic and/or paper. Others have mentioned it.... Respirator, I'm an idiot from time to time and I forget to grab mine, this stuff is no joke. My buddy smelled it two days later (closed tonneau, it was raining) and he thought it was strong. You'll need a compressor that holds 40-60 psi. If it drops too far below 40 (around 20 psi at tool) you might get some bad spray. I used a dual gauge adjustable tool psi kolbalt compressor, set psi to 60 with no issues.After looking at driving out a couple hundred miles to the nearest line-x, and got quoted around $1k and avoiding rhino a dealer told me about this stuff. For total cost of material ~$300, and a compressor of course... You can't beat the value for the money you get from this stuff. I'll be using it in a few other places around the house!

I'll have to give a second review here in a few weeks, I'd like to post what I think of the product and it's ease of use. I just finished a detail on my utility trailer (Ford Courier rear end rebuild), sanded, power washed, De-greased, sanded/power washed again and air blasted. I read the directions, watched both YouTube videos from U-Pol and a couple Professional videos for the heck of it. I must be forward with this...Have at least 1 quart of acetone for every 4 liters of this stuff for cleaning between bottles, and have a couple of gallon buckets handy to clean out your sprayer. Your sprayer will thank you, and your pattern will look nice and even every time. After I used 2 cans of the U-Pol acid #8 Etch Primer on all parts that are to be sprayed, I let it sit for a day and covered with plastic to keep any dust off the project until I was ready.I'm pretty thorough, it took me 3 hours to cover everything I wanted to get done. I used 6 liters when I could have used just 4 easily, I did parts of the under carriage and a few accessories. So it's safe to say the 4 liter kit will do an entire small trailer. The spray is deceiving, it looks like it doesn't cover very well at first. Give it time and layer it in nice sweeping strokes, they are very correct in the 40psi and 60psi coverage difference. You get more texture and less coverage with 40psi, and the opposite with 60psi. *Not a whole lot of texture difference* I sprayed my bed with 40 and the exterior with 60psi for ease of cleaning. Maybe after it's hardened/cured I'll go back out and take a few more pictures to show.Wear painters respirator, goggles that don't fog and cheap gloves and coveralls. I'm happy with it's ease of use, I'll be doing the bed of my pickup after I'm convinced this stuff holds up to wear and tear...which is why I got the 8 pack. Be careful of over-spray! This stuff goes everywhere, if I hadn't hung plastic on my walls in the garage and set up a fan for an exhaust...I'd be scraping everything down from black specks. The instructions don't say you can use the notched line at the top of the bottle as gauge for fill line for hardener, I found this out on the YouTube vid. I bought and used a cheap plastic measuring cup anyways. (Handy hint - the siphon tube on the sprayer doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, dump all bottles into a single bottle between sprays...you get about 2-3 minutes more of product to use)
